Parade workshops are a Dowtcha carnival tradition. They involve setting up a temporary community access workshop so that people can make their own costumes, build floats, rehearse music and develop performance. It’s a fantastic, all-inclusive way of working that turns a one-day event into an empowering, community development project.
Dowtcha want to develop mas camps to get more people directly involved in carnival.
We want you to jump the barriers and start dancing!
